What is Basic Obedience?
Basic obedience is teaching your dog proper manners like how to heel, come when called, sit and be under control at all times. We teach the basic commands and how to communicate in a way that your dog will understand. We train basic obedience by establishing human/dog relationships such as trust, discipline and control. We strive to promote better, happier pets for family enjoyment.
- Puppy/Small Dog – It can be intimidating to learn when you are surrounded by dogs several times your size. We created this class where dogs can learn all the beginner obedience commands alongside similarly sized dogs and puppies. Dogs must be 35lbs or smaller to be enrolled in this class.
- Beginner Obedience – In this class we teach the basic obedience commands like heeling, loose leash walking, coming when called, sitting, and laying down. Our instructors are also willing to answer any other training questions and concerns to help you teach your dog to be well-behaved.
- Advanced Obedience – This class expands upon what you learnt in the beginner obedience. As well as polishing their skills, dogs learn extended stays, stands, and finishes.
