Programs Offered
Basic Obedience
A basic obedience goal begins with teaching your dog proper manners so that he/she will be a well behaved family and community member. Our classes teach you how to train your dog so you can apply consistent principles throughout your pet’s life.
Rally Obedience
Rally obedience, or Rally-O, is a more relaxed version of formal obedience training for dogs. Dog and handler teams navigate a course of signs together by heeling, sitting, laying down and exhibiting other obedience commands.
Agility
Agility is an activity that both dog and handler will enjoy. Agility involves performing tasks of climbing, jumping, and crawling over, under, around and through various obstacles. Agility can be done for fun or competition.
Show Handling
We offer show handling classes for those looking to prepare their puppies and young dogs for the conformation show ring.
Junior Kennel Club
The Junior Kennel Club offers fun classes for the children ages 6 to 16 years. Our qualified instructors teach obedience, tricks, some agility and rally-o in the 6 week class.
Additional Classes
In the new year, the RKOC is offering two new classes. More ways to have fun with your dog! The winter is long – train with us in our warm, spacious building!
